In the 1980s, during his high school studies, under the influence of his father (György Vasvári, the doyen of Hungarian computer science, the creator of the Hungarian GIRO system), he mastered the then still infantile BASIC programming language in a self-taught manner. As a student at the Gundel Károly Hospitality Vocational High School, he developed programs for his school, the 19th District Council, the South Pest Hospitality Company and smaller Hungarian businesses. He bought his first car (Trabant 601) with the price of his book “Csupa Játék C16-ra, 1986” published by the Technical Publishing House.
He speaks German and English, his highest educational qualification is: Universite Paris Ouest Nanterre la Defense / international small and medium-sized enterprise expert.
During his studies, he acquired a high level of knowledge in the hospitality and hotel industry. His first job was at the Ramada Hotel on Margaret Island, where he started as a waiter from one of the lowest rungs of the hotel profession. After climbing the ranks, he was soon assigned to the four-star Korona Hotel, where he was tasked with establishing and then managing the Budapest Club of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). At the same time, he was asked to become the managing director of the World Trade Center Budapest Management Kft., founded by the then Pannonia Hotel Company and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce. He represented Hungary at international WTCA events in Vienna, Lisbon, Moscow, Sofia, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing and, of course, Budapest. Thanks to his active international activities, he was the first of the “countries within the Iron Curtain” to obtain the highest WTCA qualification for the Budapest center he managed (1993-2007).
Based on his knowledge and experience in the protocol profession, he became the Secretary General of the Hungarian Protocol Association between 1993 and 1995, and the Vice President of the Protocol Service Section of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During his activities there, his main goal was to develop the norms of domestic business culture.
In 1997, he founded his own consulting company, Time-Clock Ltd., of which he is currently a co-owner and managing director. Recognizing the lack of information in domestic businesses, he founded the Regional Information Project House, which provides economic and project management assistance to domestic and mainly small businesses in Pest County.
At the end of the 90s, he faced another challenge when he applied for and won the position of managing the domestic representation of 3C Communications, during which he participated in the introduction and spread of credit card telephony in Hungary, the first of the Eastern countries.
He managed to position his company and himself at a high level in the international economic life by winning the title of “Registered Consultant of the WorldBank” as a registered consultant of the World Bank in 2000.
In 2002, he participated in the formation of the Central European Club Pannonia (KEP), and soon the organization elected him as the club director. With his participation, the Social Dialogue Forum was established, among others, with the participation of civil organizations and leading parliamentary parties. The KEP awarded him the title of senator in recognition of his activities. Based on the cooperation of WTC Budapest, KEP and the 56th Association, he was given the opportunity to nominate and award the Municipalities of Kiskunlacháza, Hernádszurdok and Szolnok for “the award for their efforts to improve the cleanliness of public life and environmental culture” on several occasions. He was awarded several certificates of recognition for his active participation in the organization of the Hungarian World Congress. Since 2009, he has also served as the chairman of the KEP Hungarikum working committee and participated in the preparation of the Hungaricum Act enacted by the Parliament.
Since 2024, he has been the chairman of the KEP, under whose leadership a paradigm shift has taken place in the public benefit association, and since 2026, as the head of a 6-member international consortium, he has been the coordinator of the WITNESS-REM Holocaust memorial project.
In the first decade of the 21st century, when the economic crisis that also affected our country developed, he created a special expert team. With this team, he developed a management structure with which he managed to stabilize the management of hotels and catering units in the face of the crisis situation that arose during the crisis on several occasions.
